SUPPORTING WOMEN
Digital-based self-reliance programs for refugee women teaching life skills, workforce development, women’s rights and technical skills.
Imagine determining in real time the needs of a mobile and vulnerable population, such as refugee women resettled in a new community, and being able to deploy an entire self-reliance and workforce development program for them at less than 1$ per user. The Kura Foundation’s “She Can, She Does” program does exactly that!
The coronavirus outbreak is an unprecedented epidemic. To help ease the stress of this unknown and counteract "fake news" circulating on social media, we created a physician-approved course that goes over all aspects of the COVID-19 disease in a simple and easy to understand manner.
The guided apprenticeship program teaches the personal development and workplace development skills needed to succeed in the workplace, including decision-making skills, communication, managing emotions, resume building, acing an interview, online project management tools and more.
